MC 000413 MMM VENTICELL IL EASY Sterilization and Depyrogenation

VENTICELL® IL EASY is an economic modular-designed series of laboratory devices with the chamber volume of 55–707 litres. The device is used for items sterilization at the temperature of up to 180°C, or for items depyrogenation at the temperature of up to 300°C and in optional time mode. The devices can be used in laboratories, industry, pharmacy, and research. VENTICELL® IL EASY is intended for treatment of thermally resistant, inflammable materials.

Basic features :

  • one-door and passthrough models
  • advanced EVO automation meeting the guidelines/directives for hot air sterilization, depyrogenation
  • dustproof door design
  • separate control panels on both sides of the device for separate wall mounting
  • input HEPA inlet filter H13, meeting the purity class ISO class 7

VENTICELL® IL is intended for thermally resistant, inflammable materials, e.g.:

  • empty glass products – glasses, ampoules, vials, bottles, vessels
  • metal materials in pharmaceutical industry – trays, containers, accessories and device parts
  • thermally stable basic pharmaceutical products and chemical substances

The device concept is based on the requirements of the standard EN 61010-2-040 and can be adjusted according to the individual needs of each worksite. The device is designed and manufactured in the certified quality assurance system in accordance with EN ISO 9001.

Hot-air Sterilization and depyrogenation

Sterilization is a process that ensures killing of all viable microorganisms, including spores, and which leads to an irreversible inactivation and killing of health-relevant worms and their eggs.

During the sterilization cycle, the number of Bacillus subtilis microorganisms must be reduced by at least 6 orders of magnitude. The sterilizing effect in hot air sterilizers is achieved by heating the sterilized material to high temperatures (160-180 °C).

Depyrogenationis a procedure reducing the number of bacterial endotoxins (pyrogens) by at least three orders by high temperature (250—300°C) acting for a given period of time.

Important parameters of the processes are the following ones:

  • accurate profile reached by sophisticated heated air flow system and perfect construction design of the sterilization chamber
  • quick temperature rise and cooling
  • compliance with the regulations on clean rooms

Sentron offers a comprehensive line of high quality meters and probes for glass-free pH measurement. The meter line is created around our proprietary ISFET pH sensor that offers accurate and reliable pH measurements for demanding applications. The SI400 meter contains all the features required for stand alone pH measurements and is designed to work seamlessly with our SI series probes. Accurate and reliable The SI400 meter’s advanced electronics can achieve an accuracy of 0.01 pH, a level that is sufficient for most field and laboratory applications. The meter’s ability to offer reliable pH measurements in demanding conditions is the result of the robust ISFET sensor integrated into our probes. Unlike glass pH electrodes, ISFET pH sensors are highly resilient and do not require wet storage. User friendly A large backlit 3.2” LCD colour display allows convenient determination of measurement values and provides clear information for operation. The pH value is displayed in a large font and is continuously displayed during menu operation. The intuitive and user friendly interface allows quick access to the meter’s advanced features and settings. Large ergonomically placed buttons facilitate easy menu navigation and selection of options. Intelligent features The meter contains many helpful features that assist in performing accurate pH measurements: The intelligent calibration wizard simplifies the calibration process, reducing calibration time and the chance for errors. A full calibration report is displayed at the end of the procedure. The SI400 supports 1- and 2-point calibration. For advanced users, bias setting can be manually defined and the current pH value stored and recalled at a later time. The meter contains built-in user definable auto screen-off and auto-off settings that prevent screen burn-in and extend battery time. The SI400 also has several integrated options for connection of accessories and mounting (e.g. on a stand). Rugged design The SI400 has been designed for professional use. It has an IP65 rating and a rubber boot that helps to absorb shocks. The USB port is well protected by a tightly sealing cover and the casing and battery door are fitted with rubber seals. The light-weight and compact body makes it highly suitable for field use and handheld applications. The meter has also been designed so that it is stable when placed on a table, making it well suited for laboratory table-top use. The meter’s three AA-batteries can be recharged using the supplied AC adapter. If required the rechargeable batteries can be replaced by conventional non-rechargeable AA-batteries, allowing long term operation when no power source is available. The SI400 meter is available in two colours: either with an “outdoor” grey or a “laboratory” white boot.
